A Long Time Ago, In a Seminary Far Away
Here are a couple of old pictures from the very beginning of Theologiggle. Jana and I had been married about 13 weeks, instead of 13 years. How time flies.
It's very sweet to see ourselves back in the old days. I would just like to point out with gratitude that bug-eye glasses have since gone out of style, and that Jana and I can thank our lucky laser surgeons we no longer needs glasses anyway. I would also like to point out with dismay that all the books and furniture you see in that picture are STILL in our living room today. Maybe it's time for the Rienstras to MOVE ON, for heaven's sake!
Actually, it seems to me like we've all changed some, but it is our wives -- who, it must be said were absolutely beautiful back in the day -- have blossomed into the stunning beauties they are now.

Ron, should we add a link to Jim's church at this point in the blog? ;-)
Good idea!
Maybe first we should send an anonymous email pointing Rizer to this blog...

Is it just me, or is Ron the only one in the picture who still looks the same? Way to hold up there, RR!

What kids we all look like! Yikes! (Except of course, for Ron, who does pretty much look the same. What is your secret, Ron?)
