Bought a House the Other Day
We bought a house in Cincinnati, all the closing "stuff" was the 28th. Here are some pictures. I start work on August 1 and all the moving is taking place around August 15. So we have several weeks to paint, add wiring, finish a dissertation....
SO excited for you! The house looks gorgeous. I'm sorry to say, though, that right now I can only report that moving truly stinks. I'll feel better later. I hope that your crazy summer goes well and soon the upheaval will be only a memory. Jana, thanks for coming to Calvin amid all of this. Love, Deb
Thanks Deb, for your words of encouragement. It's quite a summer of upheaval for all of us, we could call it "Two moves and a baby!" Fortunately GE is doing all the heavy lifting for the move, we just have to label, organize, sort, etc. Jana's office will (hopefully) only be offline for less than a week in mid-August.
The house is beautiful! You'll be so happy once the upheaval is over. Kind of a larger version of the relief we feel every time the daily naptime battle is over. Is Jerusha excited about the new place? Love, Dawn
